Spring Weeds & Pre-Emergent

Spring Weeds & Pre-Emergent: Hi-Yield and Pendulum 2G

Did you know that spring weeds can start popping up as early as February? That’s why it’s important to start preparing your yard now with pre-emergent. Don’t let those pesky weeds take over your lawn this year. With a little bit of planning and the right products, you can have a beautiful, weed-free yard all spring and summer long.

But what exactly is pre-emergent? It’s a type of weed control that targets the seeds of weeds before they have a chance to sprout. By applying pre-emergent in the early spring, you can prevent weeds from growing and save yourself from the hassle of dealing with them later on.

So when should you apply pre-emergent? The ideal time is within a 6 week window, from the beginning of February to the middle of March. This is when the soil temperature reaches around 55 degrees, which is the perfect temperature for weed seeds to germinate. By applying pre-emergent during this time, you can stop weeds from growing before they even have a chance.

Don’t rely on the groundhog to tell you when spring is coming. Start planning now and get ahead of those pesky spring weeds. Your yard will thank you for it! #SpringWeedControl #PreEmergent #LawnCareTips
