  • Inactivated Vaccine: Vira Shield is a research-proven line of inactivated vaccines.
  • IBR Protection: Provides protection against Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) abortion for up to eight months post-vaccination.
  • Leptospirosis Protection: Available with five-way leptospirosis protection, including against the most common US strain, Leptospira hardjo-bovis. The duration of immunity for L. hardjo-bovis is at least 12 months.
  • Xtend™ SP Adjuvant: The vaccine utilizes the Xtend™ SP adjuvant technology for prolonged stimulation of the immune system and potentially higher immunity.
  • BVD Type 2 Duration of Immunity: Duration of immunity for BVD Type 2 is at least 11 months.

Directions

Shake well before using. Administer 5 mL subcutaneously two to four weeks prior to breeding. In accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered subcutaneously (under the skin) in the neck. Revaccinate according to label and use directions in four to five weeks. Historically, annual revaccination with a single dose has been recommended for this product. The need for this booster has not been established. For advice on revaccination frequency, consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.
